Grand Rapids Ballet Junior Company Grand Rapids Theatre reviews
Disappointing
The Grand Rapids Ballet Junior Company disappointed me with their performance during the show. I wanted to see more of the group playing, rather than just 'the Show'. If you're looking for a typical 'show' experience, then go see it, but don't expect to see much of the group or Waters. Don't expect encores once it's over - they'll be gone. What they needed but didn't have was a television camera to show the group's faces on screens. The MGM Grand Arena has 4 huge TV screens in each corner, which could have been used to let the audience see Waters perform, but this didn't happen. The prices of the t-shirts and programmes were very high, making the whole show seem like a money-making scheme. For a better experience, consider purchasing his 'IN THE FLESH' CD & DVD. The 'in the flesh' show was fantastic, and the DVD production was top-notch. Spend your money on that instead of attending the show up close.
